Endoscopy (EGD)
An Upper Endoscopy or Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) is a minimally invasive treatment that uses a thin, fiber-optic camera to examine the esophagus, stomach, and duodenum (the upper section of the small intestine.) An EGD is often used to investigate symptoms of the upper GI tract.
